So-called “earned media” is a powerful way to elevate your brand, specialists, and key services. You know the stories you want to tell about your firm. Learn how to build out a successful media relations strategy and “pitch” your stories to the media.

Chris Camara
Chris interviews the accounting profession’s thought leaders and writes articles on a wide range of topics for the monthly INSIDE Public Accounting newsletter. She has cultivated strong alliances with managing partners, HR leaders, finance chiefs, marketers, consultants and subject matter experts, and stays current on major developments and trends in public accounting. She is also a proud member of AAM, and has served on AAM’s Virtual Education Committee since 2014.

Susan Ross Wells
Susan Ross Wells is the Marketing Manager for Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD, the largest locally owned public accounting firm in Northwest Ohio. She joined the firm in 2015, following a 20-plus year career in broadcast journalism and other marketing/PR roles. Her areas of expertise include marketing & branding strategy, content creation and media relations. Susan also volunteers her time handling media relations for Flag City Honor Flight, the local hub of the national Honor Flight Network. 

Jennifer Dries
Jennifer Dries is a senior vice president and the marketing director for VRC. With 30 years of experience as a marketing and communications professional, she is an accomplished global brand builder, authentic storyteller, results-driven marketing visionary, and content marketing beast. She spent two decades of her marketing career with professional and financial service firms, including Robert W. Baird & Co. and Associated Bank’s wealth management and commercial insurance teams. Her expertise and convictions focus on how B2B marketers can guide organizations in making human-to-human connections through marketing strategy and brand messaging. She is a member of Chief, a private network designed for senior women leaders to strengthen their leadership journey, cross-pollinate ideas across industries, and effect change from the top-down. Dries was honored as CMO of the Year by the Milwaukee Business Journal and attended Alverno College for her BA in Communication, Management & Technology. A year-round outdoor enthusiast, Jen finds calming energy on Wisconsin’s biking and hiking trails with her husband and their three spoiled dogs.

Greg Joslyn
Greg has spent his professional life working at the nexus of finance and communications. Before joining the Lowe Group, he led content and publisher development for a financial services-oriented media technology start-up and, prior to that, was responsible for investor relations and marketing at a multibillion dollar distressed credit hedge fund.

Greg started his career editing and reporting for capital markets and institutional investment management publications at Euromoney Institutional Investor. He received a B.A. from the Plan II Liberal Arts Honors Program at the University of Texas. Greg enjoys sailing and snowboarding. He resides in Shorewood with his wife and their youngest child.
